Reel Mountain Theater/Cinema

Conveniently located in the heart of Estes Park, Reel Mountain Theater is a family-owned and operated business. Catch the latest blockbuster and enjoy some of their delicious popcorn (they take their popcorn very seriously!) They are open every day of the year, so drop in, sit down, and enjoy the show!

Golf with Mountain Views

Estes Valley Recreation and Park District (EVRPD) operates two golf courses within Estes Park. The Estes Park 18-Hole Golf Course offers a scenic backdrop to a par 71 golf course. The golf course is home to magnificent views of the Rocky Mountains. The Lake Estes 9-Hole Golf Course incorporates the Big Thompson River on the last four holes. The Lake Estes 9-Hole Course, which is home to a herd of elk that are active during elk calving and elk rut seasons, is a great place for a scenic and quick round of golf.

Horseback Riding

The entire family can enjoy Rocky Mountain National Park and the Estes Valley area by horseback! We have several stables in and outside of the national park. Ride for an hour or all day. The Estes Valley Community Center is a one-stop recreation facility offering an indoor running track, weight room with free weights and selectorized machines, cardio equipment and group fitness room, multi-court gymnasium, classroom/party room and game room, lap pool (6 lanes, 25 yards), leisure pool with waterslide, lazy river with interactive play features, and drop-in childcare while using the facility.

Kayak Lake Estes

Lake Estes Marina is usually open from May - October. The marina offers boat rentals from one-passenger kayaks to 10-passenger pontoon boats. Other rentals include a surrey-type pedal cart and cruiser bikes. Walk, run, bike or surrey around the lake! The Lake Estes Marina Store sells fishing licenses and supplies, food and drinks. Be sure to use the small beach area - perfect for all ages to enjoy volleyball, horseshoes and picnic facilities. Fun for the entire family!
